The story of Bwana Doc:
A life spent traveling the world studying environmental problems lead D.R. Schneider to write the Bwana Doc Adventure series. After seeing hundreds of environmental catastrophes first hand, he decided to create the hero that would take action toward the destruction of our planet by greedy corporations and corrupt, indifferent governments. An adjunct associate professor at the University of Texas at Austin for 25 years, he taught microbial ecology to hundreds of undergraduates and remains as a Research Fellow.
D.R. Schneider, PhD
A scientist and adventurer, he is an avid scuba diver, fisherman and oenology enthusiast. An author of many technical papers, books, and newspaper articles, this is his second novel. His first novel, "Saving the Whales" introduced Bwana Doc and his team. His 2nd novel, "Stopping the Shark Finners" won a national book award. A percentage of all book and shirt sales are donated to worthy environmental organizations.
